Role Overview

The Community Manager will be responsible for building, growing, and managing a vibrant design community at a national level. This includes launching regional chapters, managing campus ambassador programs, organizing events, and driving engagement among educators, students, and creative professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and manage regional community chapters, with potential for expansion over time
  • Recruit, train, and manage Chapter Leads across different regions
  • Build and scale a Campus Ambassador Program across educational institutions
  • Plan and execute community-wide gatherings, bringing together chapter leads, ambassadors, and members
  • Develop and manage landing pages for various community programs (e.g., chapters, ambassadors, education initiatives)
  • Run influencer marketing initiatives to expand community reach
  • Drive adoption of design tools within educational ecosystems
  • Build strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including educational institutions, training platforms, and professional communities
  • Support localization efforts, including language adaptation and culturally relevant content
  • Maintain a content calendar and manage community communications across digital channels

Qualifications

  • 6 – 8 years of experience in community management, event management, or ecosystem development
  • Strong understanding of technology, education, and creative sectors
  • Experience managing volunteer or ambassador networks at scale
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events across multiple regions
  • Familiarity with design tools and visual communication platforms is a plus
