Affinity Campus Ambassadors · Pakistan
Affinity is the professional design, photo and layout app from Canva, and it is free for individuals. We are looking for students at design, art and architecture departments to open Affinity on their campus: run sessions, start a chapter, and give classmates a legal, professional tool to build their careers on.
by Canva · Free for individuals since October 2025
Why now
For years, professional design in Pakistan meant expensive or pirated software. Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher are now free for individuals. What is left is for the next generation of designers to know it exists, and to learn it by making real work. That happens on campus, from a classmate, not from an ad.

Who this is for
This programme is for students of design, art and related creative departments: the people who will be professional designers in a few years and are choosing their tools right now. If you are in a studio, a lab or a critique every week, you are who we are looking for.
Any university in Pakistan with a design, art or architecture department can have an ambassador. If yours is not one yet, that is exactly the point.
The role
01
Hands-on sessions for your department: Designer, Photo and Publisher on real briefs. Decks and exercises are ready; you bring the room.
02
A small Affinity community on your campus: a group, a monthly meet-up, a place where work gets shared and critiqued.
03
Show people the free, legal, professional alternative, and help them make their first real piece in it.
04
When the national Affinity Design Challenge runs, your campus is a local round. You help entries get made and shown.
05
Collect the best student work made in Affinity for features, exhibitions and the national showcase.
06
Be the link between your faculty, your societies and the Affinity and Canva Pakistan team.
Two to three sessions a term, a monthly meet-up, and a short note after each so the next ambassador starts ahead.
What you get
An Affinity Campus Ambassador letter and certificate you can show your faculty, a studio or an employer.
Onboarding on Designer, Photo and Publisher, plus ready session decks, briefs and exercises. No prep from scratch.
A kit for you and swag for your sessions, dispatched to your campus.
Access to working designers and the Affinity and Canva Pakistan team for feedback on your own work.
Your sessions, your chapter and your work featured on our channels and in the national showcase.
Ambassadors are first in line for the Affinity Design Challenge, the wider Canva community, and what comes next.
How it works
1
The form below. Ten minutes, plus a link to something you have made.
2
A relaxed conversation about your campus, your work and what you would run first.
3
Affinity training, your session decks, the kit, and the ambassador group.
4
Run your first Affinity session on campus. We will be there for it.
Apply
Ten minutes. We are looking for people who make things and like helping others make things, not for polish.
Good to know
Yes. Affinity by Canva is free for individuals, with Designer, Photo and Publisher in one app. No subscription, no trial clock.
It is a community role, like our Canva Student Ambassadors: no salary, but real training, a kit, an official appointment, mentorship and features, and a head start on the national Affinity Design Challenge.
This programme is for design, art, architecture and related creative departments, because that is where professional design tools are chosen. For everything else, the Canva Student Ambassador programme is open to every campus (/canva/campus-ambassador).
Whenever you are comfortable. The usual rhythm is two to three sessions a term plus a monthly meet-up. The team confirms every date with you well in advance.
Every chapter we have started began with one student who said yes.
